- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- Preheat the oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
- Adult: handle the oven!
- Cut the dough into small oval shapes using the cookie cutter or cup — about the size of a mini bread roll.
- Kids: press shapes and have fun with it!
- Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush gently with a little olive oil so they get golden in the oven.
- Adult: supervise the brushing step and help kids with coating.
- Spread a teaspoon of pizza sauce on each oval and sprinkle with mozzarella. Add pepperoni or other toppings if you like.
- Kids: decorate your “football” with your favorite toppings!
- Bake 10–12 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are golden.
- Adult: monitor the oven and remove when done.
- Let cool briefly, then use thin strips of cheese or a little pizza sauce to pipe the “laces” so they look like tiny footballs.
- Kids: draw the laces — the fun finishing touch!
